This listing provides the sealing rings specific to those units, covering production years 1990 through 2016, as a standalone component for technicians who need exactly that part and nothing else.

Unlike bundled overhaul kits, this is a single-line item: sealing rings, verified at packing against their own part list, which is included in the box. That list lets the technician confirm at the bench that every ring is present before the transmission goes back together. REMCO has been sourcing and assembling transmission components since 1991, and the same hand-check process applied to full overhaul kits applies here.

The 096, 097, 01M, and 01P share a common family architecture, but their internal dimensions and ring counts are not interchangeable across all variants. Before placing the order, locate the transmission code on the unit itself, not on the vehicle documentation, and cross it against this listing. Model year and engine displacement can also affect which variant is installed, so confirming all three data points, code, year, and engine, is the safest approach.

This listing does not include friction discs, steel plates, Automatic Transmission Filters, gaskets, or any overhaul hardware. If your job requires those components, they are sold separately. Article weight is 1 lb. It does not include friction discs, steels, Automatic Transmission Filters, gaskets, or any other overhaul components. Review your parts list before ordering to avoid a second purchase.

A single focused component rather than a bundled kit means you get exactly the sealing rings your unit needs without paying for parts already on your bench.
