45RFE 5-45RFE [99-UP] Automatic Transmission Steel Clutch Pack Module

Steels that have been through a failure carry hot spots you cannot see, and those hot spots are where the next slip starts.

45RFE steel module. This set restores the clamping surface the friction material needs to do its job.

Surface finish decides how the friction material beds in during the first heat cycles. Shipping weight is 6 lb.

The parts list below is exactly what ships. Compare it against your teardown before ordering.

REMCO has supplied automatic transmission parts since 1991, and every order ships with its part listing so the receiving technician can check what arrived against what was ordered.

• Running worn or damaged steel in these units accelerates clutch pack failure and shortens rebuild life significantly -- replacing the steel module directly addresses that root cause.
• This listing covers the steel module only. It does not include friction discs, seals, gaskets, Automatic Transmission Filter, or any other rebuild components -- verify what your repair still needs before ordering.
• The 45RFE and 545RFE share a platform but have differences that matter at the bench; this steel module is catalogued specifically for both codes, so you are ordering the right piece for those units.
• Contents: one steel module unit. Shipped weight is 6 lb. No additional pieces are packed in the box beyond this single component.
• Before ordering, confirm the transmission code stamped on the unit and the production year -- this part applies to 45RFE and 545RFE from 1999 and up; do not assume fitment from vehicle model alone.
