4T65E [97-UP] Automatic Transmission Steel Clutch Pack

A clutch pack holds torque only if the steels between the frictions are flat and parallel, and used plates rarely are.

4T65E Steel Clutch Pack. This set restores the clamping surface the friction material needs to do its job.

A pack built with mixed thicknesses applies unevenly no matter how the pressure reads. Shipping weight is 1.93 lb.

The parts list below is exactly what ships. Compare it against your teardown before ordering.

REMCO has supplied automatic transmission parts since 1991, and every order ships with its part listing so the receiving technician can check what arrived against what was ordered.

• A worn or glazed steel plate causes clutch pack slippage and erratic shifts; replacing it restores the clamping surface the friction discs need to transfer torque cleanly.
• This listing is for a steel clutch plate only. It does not include friction discs, seals, gaskets, Automatic Transmission Filter, band, or any other component. Confirm what your rebuild requires before ordering.
• Steel clutch plates in the 4T65E take direct pressure from the apply pistons every shift cycle; a single damaged plate fouls the whole pack, so replacing it individually keeps the repair targeted and cost-controlled.
• One steel clutch plate, 2.85 lb. No additional pieces are included. The part number is and it is pulled and verified against the catalog listing before it ships.
• Before ordering, confirm your transmission code is 4T65E and that the unit falls within the 1997-to-current application range. Match the plate dimensions to your existing stack before disassembly.
