• Covers the forward, direct, and low-reverse clutch circuits on 3T40 units built from 1980 forward, addressing the seal and clutch wear that causes slipping and harsh shifts.
• This kit does NOT include bands, bushings, Automatic Transmission Filter, pistons, or a pump bushing. Check your parts list against this kit before ordering to avoid a return trip to the shelf.
• Where most kits separate frictions from steels and force two orders, this one combines 14 clutch plates and 12 steel plates alongside the overhaul gasket set into one 8-lb box, cut and counted here at REMCO.
• 27 total pieces: 5 forward-direct frictions .080, 5 low-reverse frictions .090, 4 forward-direct frictions .069, 4 direct clutch steels .100 oversize, 4 forward clutch steels .076 flat, 4 low-reverse steels .088, and 1 overhaul gasket kit.
