E4OD 4R100 [98-UP] Automatic Transmission Friction Module [ 98-]

When a 4R100 rebuild calls for fresh friction discs across every clutch pack, this kit puts all 26 pieces in one box without padding the order with parts you may already have. What sets it apart is the specificity: seven separate clutch sets, each selected for its own position, thickness, tooth count, and surface pattern, rather than a one-size assortment.

The reverse clutch pack receives 6 frictions at .078 inch with 24 teeth. The direct clutch gets 4 waffle-pattern grey frictions at .077 inch, a surface geometry designed for that pack's heat cycle. Forward clutch uses 4 smooth hardened-core frictions at .075 inch. Coast clutch accounts for 3 frictions at .078 inch. The overdrive section is covered by two separate sets: 3 frictions at .078 inch with 64 teeth and 3 more at .078 inch with 32 teeth. Intermediate clutch rounds out the kit with 3 frictions at .078 inch, 50-tooth count.

This is a Friction Kit, meaning friction discs only. Steel plates, seals, gaskets, Automatic Transmission Filter, pump bushing, and band are not included. If your job requires those components, confirm what you have on the bench before placing the order.
