A teardown that finds one worn component has almost always found the first of several.

A40 D A55 A44DL A41 A43 A42DL A43DE A43DL A45DL CLUTCH SET. This set is assembled for the unit it serves rather than pulled from a shelf.

The contents are matched as a set, so the pack end play falls where the design calls for it. Shipping weight is 3 lb.

The parts list below is exactly what ships. Compare it against your teardown before ordering.

REMCO has supplied automatic transmission parts since 1991, and every order ships with its part listing so the receiving technician can check what arrived against what was ordered.

• Consolidate your friction sourcing in one order: this kit covers front/rear brake 1 and brake 2 positions, brake 3, and reverse clutch with 22 pieces ready to install.
• NO steel plates, NO Automatic Transmission Filter, NO bands, NO seals, NO gaskets included. This kit is frictions only. Review your parts list before ordering to confirm you have everything else you need.
• All 22 frictions in this kit are pulled and counted individually at our facility before the box is sealed, and a parts list ships inside the box so you can verify count on arrival.
• Contains exactly 14 front/rear brake 1 and brake 2 frictions (.091 thick, 24 teeth), 5 brake 3 frictions (.091 thick, 16 teeth), and 3 reverse clutch frictions (.067 thick, 33 teeth, 5.60 OD). Kit weighs 3 lb.
• Before ordering, confirm your unit code matches A40, A43DE, A44DL, or A55 and verify the build year falls within the 1973-present application range covered by this kit.
