Replacing the pan gasket and screen at the same time is the baseline step in any 4L30E or 4L30 service, and this two-piece set covers both in a single order. The duraprene pan gasket and the tall pick-up screen with black cover are pulled and packed together here, so nothing gets ordered separately and then forgotten.

The screen is built around an 11/16-tall pick-up tube, a spec that matters on 4L30E and 4L30 automatic transmission sumps from 1991 forward. Use a screen with the wrong pick-up height and fluid delivery to the valve body suffers before the pan is even bolted back on. The duraprene gasket seals the pan rail cleanly and does not require additional sealant under normal installation conditions.

This set does not include friction discs, steel plates, clutch packs, or a band. If your job calls for any of those, they need to be sourced separately. The box contains exactly 2 pieces: one pan gasket, one screen. A part list ships inside the box so you can check off each item as you unpack.
