4L60E [92-96] Automatic Transmission Kit [ Except Deep Pan and ]

A restricted Automatic Transmission Filter starves the pump and the pressure loss shows up as delayed engagement and slipping under load.

4L60E Automatic Transmission Filter Kit. This replacement Automatic Transmission Filter is part of every proper overhaul and protects the work that was just done.

The seal at the pump bore is what keeps the pickup from drawing air. This is the deep pan Automatic Transmission Filter. Shipping weight is 2 lb.

The parts list below is exactly what ships. Compare it against your teardown before ordering.

REMCO has supplied automatic transmission parts since 1991, and every order ships with its part listing so the receiving technician can check what arrived against what was ordered.

• A dirty Automatic Transmission Filter and a leaking pan gasket together cause pressure loss and sluggish shifts - replacing both at the same time closes that loop in one job.
• This kit does NOT include friction discs, steel plates, bands, seals, or a solenoid kit - check your parts list before ordering to avoid a second trip.
• Shallow pan Automatic Transmission Filter only: this kit will NOT fit units with a deep pan or Corvette configuration - verify your pan style before purchasing.
• Kit contains exactly 2 pieces: 1 cork bottom pan gasket for TH700-R4 and 4L60E units, and 1 shallow pan Automatic Transmission Filter dated 1997 spec [93-UP]. Total weight: 1 lb.
• Before ordering confirm the transmission code stamped on your unit is 4L60E, 4L65E, or 4L70E, that your application falls within the 1992-1996 range, and that you have a shallow pan.
