A518 [82-99] Automatic Transmission Solenoid Pressure Filter

Correcting governor pressure faults on A500 and A518 transmissions requires both the solenoid and the sensor together, and this kit puts both in one box alongside the gasket and Automatic Transmission Filter you will need during the same service. The governor pressure solenoid included here covers A518 and A618 applications from 1994 forward. The 4-pin governor pressure transducer sensor covers A518 and A500 from 1996 forward. Both pieces address the automatic transmission governor pressure circuit, which controls shift timing and line pressure response. If either component fails or reads out of range, the unit can produce delayed engagements, harsh or slipping shifts, or trigger fault codes related to governor pressure.

Also in the box: a cork bottom pan gasket shared across A727, A518, and A618 cases, and a metal-plastic Automatic Transmission Filter for the same family covering 1998 and up. The corrugated sheet inside is there to protect the components during shipping.
