4R44E 4R55E 5R55E Rebuild Kit for 4R44E, 4R55E and 5R55E automatic transmissions, 1997 and later. Includes frictions, band, gasket and seal set, bushings and Automatic Transmission Filter for a complete overhaul. 20 pieces in 7 components.

• 4R44E automatic transmission: restoring clutch function and sealing the unit in one order reduces teardown time and the risk of missing critical components across direct, forward, and overdrive circuits.
• This kit does NOT include steel plates. If your rebuild requires steels, check your parts list before ordering to avoid a second purchase or a delayed job.
• Fifteen friction discs spread across three clutch packs, all .069 inch thick with spiral grooves, address the wear patterns most responsible for slipping and heat buildup in these units.
• Kit contains: 6 direct clutch frictions, 6 forward clutch frictions, 3 overdrive frictions, 2 flex band red intermediate overdrive, 1 pump bushing, 1 zero-leak 2WD Automatic Transmission Filter, 1 overhaul gasket kit. Total: 20 pieces, 4 lb.
• Before ordering, confirm the transmission code stamped on the unit, the model year, and whether your application is 2WD, as the Automatic Transmission Filter in this kit is spec'd for 2WD configurations only.
