A604 40TE 41TE [89-UP] Automatic Transmission Piston 41AE Underdrive Clutch

A cracked or hardened piston seal bleeds off apply pressure and the clutch it feeds slips under load.

A604 41AE underdrive clutch (bonded) piston. Each piston is produced to the bore and travel of the position it serves.

Cracks appear at the bond line and do not show on the bench. The pistons are bonded rather than lip sealed. Shipping weight is 1 lb.
